Some More, by Josefa de Obidos

Born in Sevilla ( 1630 ), Josefa was a nun in Portugal, where she delighted the portuguese aristocracy with her beautiful realistic paintings.
The baroque portuguese art was very refined, above all in ceramics, inspiration and technique imported from the ancient orient culture; and the same can be said of silver and gold "orfèvrerie", in the reign of King John the V, with silver and gold actually pouring from Brasil.
